I have no desire to vote for a Democrat. But if it comes down to a choice between Graham and Democrat, I will vote for the Democrat. The alternative is to reward Graham’s behavior and embolden him to go even farther. Does any conservative really want to encourage this RINO to be even more of a traitor? I’d rather help a Democrat get elected. At least then we’d know what we had. Graham would be gone and the next Republican to run would think twice about betraying his base like Graham has done.

Why must we as conservatives choose between Lindsey Graham and a democrat? We “must” find true conservatives who are so confident with themselves, that they cannot be swayed once they are in the “Oz” that is Washington D.C. Lindsey Grahams arrogance on the immigration issue is astounding. Those of us who oppose this legislation were actually called “bigots”, because we have a different point of view. It is not courageous to vote for a bill that 80 per cent of your constituency oppose. He must be defeated, but not by a Democrat. He needs to be defeated by a conseravative, who is not ashamed to stand up and speak our values. Lets get busy.

I TOO AM DISAPPOINTED IN THE WAY LINDSEY GRAHAM HAS REPRESENTED US SOUTH CAROLINIANS. WOULD ANY REPUBLICAN JUST STAND UP AND RUN, I WILL VOTE FOR YOU IF YOU BELIEVE THAT THEIR IS A WAR ON TERRORISM AND THAT THE MUSLIMS WANT TO CONVERT US OR KILL US. THAT IS THE ONLY THING THAT LINDSEY GRAHAM AND I HAVE AGREED ON.

YOU WILL NEVER GET ME TO VOTE FOR A KNOWN DEMOCRAT UNLESS SENATOR MILLER FROM GEORGIA COMES OUT OF RETIREMENT AND MOVES TO SOUTH CAROLINA. I HAVE NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY A REPUBLICAN WOULD VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT AGAINST A REPUBLICAN UNLESS THE DEMOCRAT WAS MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN THE REPUBLICAN. AS DISAPPOINTED AS I AM WITH GRAHAM, I CAN’T VOTE FOR ANY DEMOCRAT THAT I CAN THINK OF!

Last week I received another request for funds for the RNC Victory Fund, to which I have previously contributed. I sent it back, advising the RNC to remove my name from their mailing list. The reasons given:
1) President Bush, who is determined to betray all those who voted for him (twice) by securing enough Democratic voters (illegal Hispanics) for the Dems to retain power for a generation;
2)Lindsey Graham, who is the most arrogant jerk politician I’ve ever seen. Remember how he told those who disagreed with Harriet Myers to just “sit down and shut up?” The guy is over the top and definitely in league with Bush, Lott, and their ilk.

I don’t live in South Carolina. But I am a conservative that depends on the solid conservatism of South Carolinians to keep the Federal government in check. Which is impossible with someone like Graham there.

I was delighted to find that this type of grassroots movement is starting. Count me in.

I’ll write my own self in if it comes down to voting for Lindsey Grahamnesty or a Democrat. I absolutely refuse to support Graham in any way, shape, or form. If the dog catcher runs against him in the primary, I’ll vote for the dog catcher. It is amazing the arrogance he has had through this whole ordeal and now the president is doing the same thing. Graham was on our local talk radio here in Greenville, SC last week, and for an hour, caller after caller after caller ripped him a new one and all he could do was talk about how he supported the president on this bill. It was disgusting to hear him talk!!

This guy is dilirious. He will hopefully be a 1 term wonder. A good alternative should have more than a leg up on this idiot.
I’m not from SC but I will gladly make a donation to whoever the challenger is. He deserves to go down in flames, both him and a few of his buddies or co-cospirators on this immigration bill.

I agree that it is typically difficult to defeat an incumbent. I think in Graham’s case, however, it will be different. Graham has been a disappointment to conservatives all across the state and not just on immigration. I expect there will be a strong challenger and people will line up to support him.

But even if no conservative rises up to challenge Graham, even if he gets the nomination again, I will still work to defeat him. I am prepared to work for a Democrat if necessary. I might not be inclined to do the same thing in a presidential race but this RINO boob MUST be defeat at virtually any cost.

I live in South Carolina. It’s a difficult task to defeat an incumbent, but my promise is that I’ll do all that I can to make sure Mr. Graham no longer darkens the halls on Capitol Hill. He certainly doesn’t represent his fellow Palmetto State citizens. His arrogance is totally beyond belief.
